Santo Tomas is a 4th class municipality located on Pampanga Province.
It is bounded on the north by San Fernando City, on the east by San Simon, on the south by Minalin, and on the west by Bacolor.
The town is situated 66 kilometers north of Manila.
It has a total land area of 21 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 7 barangays.
The town is a major producer of caskets earning it the title "casket capital of Cemtral Luzon".
