Roxas is a 3rd class municipality located in Oriental Mindoro. It is bounded on the north by Bongabong, on the
east by East MIndoro Strait, and on the southwest by Mansalay. It has a total land
area of 85.2 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 20 barangays.
The town is 137 kilometers away from Calapan City, the provincial capital. Its Roll-On Roll-Off (RORO)
port is a vital jump-off point to the Boracay Island and the whole of Visayas and Mindanao region via the western
Strong Republic Nautical Highway (SRNH).
