The town of Rodriguez is formerly called Montalban. It is the northernmost town of Rizal Province
and is bounded on the north by the town of Norzagaray in the province of Bulacan, on the east by the town of
Gen. Nakar in the province of Quezon, on the south by Antipolo City and the town of
San Mateo, and on the west by Quezon City.
It is accessible by a road coming from Marikina City via San Mateo. Alternatively, the town can be reached via Payatas (Litex), Quezon City.

Located at the slopes of the Sierra Madre Mountains, Rodriguez has a total land area of 312.7 square kilometers.
It is politically subdivided into 11 barangays most of which are urbanized. The town center is situated in a narrow valley traversed
by Wawa River, a tributary of the Marikina River.
Rodriguez town offers exciting investment opportunities. Its mountain slopes can be developed into housing or tourist facilities. Its rising population
necessitates the establishment of commercial complexes. Its agricultural lands can produce high value crops such as fruits and vegetables, cutflower and ornamental
plants, and poultry and livestock.
