The town of Pinili is located at the southwestern part of Ilocos Norte Province. It is bounded on the north by the towns of
Currimao ansd Batac, on the east by Nueva Era, on the south by Badoc, and on the west by the South china Sea. It has a total land
area of 89.48 square kilometers and is subdivided into 25 barangays.
Being one of the foremost producers of garlic (bawang), the town celebrates the Bawang Festival during the month of April.
