Located 47 kilometers east of Manila on the southern part of Rizal Province, the town of Morong is bounded on the
north by the municipality of Teresa, on the east by Baras, on the south by Cardona
and Laguna Lake, and on the west by Binangonan. Morong is composed of 8
barangays, namely, Bombongan, Caniogan-Calero-Lanang, Lagundi, Maybancal, San Guillermo, San Jose, San Juan, San Pedro.
Topography consists of narrow lowlands, hills, and mountains.

Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for a majority of the residents. Rice and fish are the main products. Small quantities of
root crops, fruits and vegetables are also produced.
Business Opportunities
There are a lot of opportunities for business in this town. Its agricultural lands can produce high value commercial crops and
commercial poultry and livestock as well as exotic animals. Tourism-related ventures can be a hit. Investors can also establish factories for the manufacture of
garments and fashion accessories, furniture, jewelry, processed foods, and other consumer goods. The real estate industry
particularly mass housing has a bright prospect in this town.
