Mankayan is a 3rd class municipality located in the northern part of Benguet Province.
It is bounded on the north by the province of Ilocos Sur, on the east by Mountain Province, on the south by Buguias, and
on the west by Bakun.
It has a total land area of 130 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 12 barangays.
