Maria Aurora is a 3rd class municipality located in the central part of Aurora Province. It is bounded
on the northwest by Nueva Vizcaya Province, on the northeast by Dipaculao town, on the east by Baler, on the south by San Luis,
and on the west by Nueva Ecija Province.
It has a total land area of 426 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 40 barangays.
