The seat of the provincial government, Lingayen is a 1st class municipality located on the northern part of Pangasinan Province.
It is bounded on the north by Lingayen Gulf, on the east by the town of Binmaley, on the south by San Carlos City, and on
the west by the towns of Bugallon and Labrador.
It has a total land area of 62.7 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 32 barangays.
The town is situated 200 kilometers north of Manila.
