Larena is a 5th class municipality located in the northern coast of Siquijor province.
It is bounded on the north by Cebu Strait, on the east by the town of Enrique Villanueva, on the south by Maria, and on the west by Siquijor town.
It has a total land area of square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 23 barangays.
