Inabanga is a 3rd class municipality located on the northern coast of Bohol Province. It is bounded on the north
by Cebu Strait, on the east by the towns of Buenavista and Danao, on the south by Sagbayan, and on the west by Clarin.
It has a total land area of 131 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 50 barangays.
The town is situated 71 kilometers east of Tagbilaran City, the provincial capital.
