Fernando Poe Jr. is the President of the Philippines the Filipinos never had. He started his showbiz career as an actor at the age of 14. In 1968, he married actress Susan Roces. Their only daughter, Mary Grace Poe-Llamanzares, is an adopted one. He ran and lost in the controversial election of 2004. He filed an electoral protest but he died that same year. In 2006, he was conferred the National Artist award by no less than his political nemesis: President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Known as FPJ from his initials, he is an actor who directed and produced over a hundred films which are mostly action movies. Some of the most memorable Movies are :
