Dinalungan is a 4th class municipality located in Aurora Province. It is bounded on the northwest by
Quirino Province, on the northeast by the town of Casiguran, on the east and on the south by Pacific Ocean, and on
the southwest by Dipaculao.
It has a total land area of 316.8 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 9 barangays.
