Dimiao is a 5th class municipality located on the southern coast of Bohol Province.
It is bounded on the north
by the town of Bilar, on the east by Valencia, on the south by Bohol Sea, and on the west by Lila.
It has a total land area of 77 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 35 barangays.
The town is situated 37 kilometers east of Tagbilaran City, the provincial capital.
