Daniel Padilla is the new leading man of Kathryn Bernardo in Growing Up, an afternoon show of ABS-CBN. Daniel plays the role of Patrick with a bad boy hearthtrob image while Kathryn portrays a boyish persona in Ella. Viewers immediately notice the special chemistry of the two stars.

Says Daniel of Kathryn during a press conference: "Si Kath ay maganda, mabait, magaling pa. Madali siyang ka trabaho. Approachable siya. Pwede mong makausap nang seryoso kahit kayong dalawa lang. Pero kengkoy din katulad ko.”
