Claveria is a 3rd class municipality located in Cagayan Province. It is bounded on the
north by Babuyan Channel, on the east by Sanchez Mira, on the south by Apayao Province, and on the west by Santa Praxedes.
It has a total land area of 194 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 41 barangays.
Claveria is approximately 178 kilometers from Tuguegarao City, the provincial and regional center of Cagayan
Valley. From Manila, it is approximately 613.0 kilometers via Ilocos Region.
