Carmen is a 2nd class municipality located in the heart of Bohol Province. It is bounded on the north
by the town of Danao, on the east by Dagohoy and Sierra Bullones, on the south by Valencia, and on the west by batuan and Sagbayan.
It has a total land area of 232 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 29 barangays.
Carmen is the home of the world famous Chocolate Hills.
