Baclayon is a 5th class municipality located on the southwestern coast of Bohol Province.
It is bounded on the north by the town of Corella, on the east by Albuquerque, on the south by Bohol Sea, and on the
west by Tagbilaran City.
It has a total land area of 48.4 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 17 barangays.
The town is only 7 kilometers east of Tagbilaran City, the provincial capital.
